Shift Quest is a chat-based game of adventure, logic, and imagination, played exclusively at Infobip Shift Zadar. Inspired by classic text-based adventures, Shift Quest brings the experience to WhatsApp and pushes it further with AI, AR, and voice integrations.

Bringing "Have you played with our conference chatbot?" to a completely different level
Scan the special QR code at the venue and begin your adventure, guided by The Duck. That's right—everyone's favorite Shift mascot has leveled up into a cunning WhatsApp chatbot, acting as your game master.
Across 8 meticulously crafted levels, you'll solve riddles, master challenges, and navigate both the IRL location and the game itself for a chance to win amazing prizes. Expect to stretch your legs, your wit, and your imagination as you embark on this unforgettable adventure that bridges tech and play.

Reimagining what a conference chatbot can do with AI, AR, and voice integrations
Shift Quest transforms a simple WhatsApp chatbot into a dynamic gamified experience powered by cutting-edge integrations:
AI Assistants
Throughout their Shift Quest adventure, players could request "divine guidance" from The Duck, triggering a conversational AI experience that took the gameplay to another level. Brimming with personality, the AI assistant provided tailored hints for each challenge, enriching both the narrative and the overall gameplay experience.
Voice Challenge
Testing their vocal cords and dedication to the Quest, players recorded themselves exclaiming, "I love Shift Zadar!" But it didn't stop there—they had to modulate their voices to match a target soundwave shape as closely as possible. Seamlessly running checks in the background, an AI system analyzed and ranked the players.
Augmented Reality
In a challenge that expanded the Shift Quest playing field into yet another layer of reality, players were seamlessly swept from WhatsApp—and back—into an immersive WebAR experience. They hunted for virtual ducks hidden throughout the venue, blending real-world exploration with digital adventure.
AI Prompt Extraction
The final challenge demonstrated the importance of security in AI solutions, as players faced a conversational AI that both educated them on prompt extraction techniques and challenged them to apply what they'd learned. Their mission: "make The Duck quack" to extract the secret code, win the game, and complete the Quest.
